Michael Schatz is a Los Angeles based independent colorist offering professional post production color grading services for feature films, television, commercials, and music videos.
Michael Schatz is a graduate of the Film and Television MFA program at the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts. Upon graduation, he began his colorist career as a Color Assist at Company 3 in 2014. Quickly learning from his coworkers, he went on to become the In-House colorist at Tastemade, the online food, travel, and home social media content creator. While at Tastemade, he designed the color workflow. He now works in Los Angeles as an independent colorist offering professional color grading services for feature films, television, commercials, and music videos.
In addition to color, Michael also offers professional services for editing, post supervision, and cinematography.
